your site and a little information about the what visitors will find
at the site. You can also use this area to advertise other content
from your site to the article readers, to get them to click through.

Usually you can get into an article directory fairly easily and get

listed for the keywords you choose within a few days. This means the
traffic should start coming in pretty quickly. The traffic will also
be very targeted if you follow the suggestions below. Targeted
traffic means traffic that comes to your site that is interested in
your information or service and is therefore more likely to end up
being a paying customer.

Here are 7 tips to follow for article marketing:

1. Use the keywords you have chosen throughout your article of about 500 words.

2. Use the keyword phrase in your title twice.

3. Use the keyword in your opening sentence.

4. Make your bio box interesting, it encourages more visits.

5. Presell your products or affiliated items on your website.

6. Choose keywords that are directly related to your topic.

7. Don't over choose keywords, keep it simple and related.

Direct linking to your affiliated product or website is usually not
the best way to make money. Most experienced marketers will use a
landing page or mini website for information on the product or service
they are advertising. It is called pre-selling, and the better you are
at it, the more sales you will ultimately make.
